Our rooms are kept spotless.

6 Months-1 Year

Your baby will experience personal care from our well-staffed team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned between services. Upon checking in, you can select to be contacted for diaper changes or if your child hasn’t been able to adapt to the classroom in a relatively short period of time. We invite parents to stay with your child as they acclimate for the first 15 minutes. Then we kindly ask you to allow our staff to work with the child from that point on.

2 Years – 3 Years

In preschool, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. This aged class is very interactive and they have so much fun in worship, lesson, and play. They start to form relationships with other kids and their teachers.

4 Years – 5 Years

As they transition from preschool to kindergarten, we interject more structure into the class schedule. Their faith is built as they engage in stories, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. We also see growth in this age as they interact with question and answer time interjected in the lessons. We see their relationships growing with their peers and teachers as they prepare to promote to elementary.

1st – 6th grade

Every weekend, your children 1st Grade through 6th grade come to a Kids service where they experience dynamic live worship and Biblical teaching. Together, they learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other. This class meets in the Wiley Center, our onsite gymnasium. They also break out into small groups 1st – 3rd and 4th – 6th grade, so they can be challenged at their level.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

When You Arrive

When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s check in area. Once at check in, one of our Serve Team volunteers will find out a little about your family and your child, to help us serve you well. Here is a link to our Pre-Registration Form, which will save you time as you check in.

HOW THINGS WORK

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.

Check-In

Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.

Special Needs Child info

At Legacy, we want to minister to all children, no matter the specific needs a child might have. We have Special Friends prepared to assist with your child in their classroom. Upon checking in, please let one of our staff know what needs your child has, so we can do our best to accommodate them during service.

Safety

All Legacy Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own safety team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a text message paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.

Nursing Mom’s Room

Is your newborn too restless for the main worship experience or is your toddler still hesitant to be away from you for too long? We have the perfect place for you! The Nursing Mom’s Room is a space set aside for moms to be with their smaller children with rocking chairs, toys, blankets, and a changing table. You can still get to experience the worship and message live via video in the room.

Kids Club Wednesdays/Prayer/ Discipleship Classes:               6:30-8:00 PM

Youth: Sunday Nights from 6:00-8:00 PM
